I just came back from the orphanage. The Interact Club of SMK Convent Teluk Intan visited the Hope Mission orphanage. When we reached, I was a bit shocked to see the orphanage quite clean. Hmm..then shocked that I-rene was a bit blurr..

Later, we had a slight briefing from the keeper bought how these children ended up there;

 CASE 1: When one of the kids were 9months old, the mother divorced and married another man. The step-father physically abused the kid because they were not at the same terms.

CASE 2: The father took his children and wife to a store. Bought canned-drinks for them, and then let them to be at the shop. When the wife went out to look for her husband, the man had already left them. He got to his car and left them there like that. The woman felt lost, sent her children there to the orphanage.

CASE 3: One of the kids parents were in terrible condition. The father was a total useless man. He ha to depend on his wife to feed his children. The woman would bring back food from her work place for her children. NO FOOD, NO FOOD FOR CHILDREN. She couldn't bare and sent her children here.

CASE 4: The kid's mum was already mentally ill. Her dad, a drunkett and a drug addict. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY ABUSED HER OR NOT. But she was sent there by the welfare department.

And then the keeper told us, that one of the kids did not have a birth certificate. So, it was his job to get the certificate done. In order to get the certificate done, they need the signature of the real father. The keeper searched for the man, and found him in JB living and married with another woman. He agreed and came here to get the birth-certificates done. After completing the process, the keeper asked him if he wanted to see his children THE CHILDREN WERE AT SCHOOL THAT TIME. The man responded that it wouldn't be necessary as he was late and needed to head back. BUT the keeper went to the school and got one of the sisters back to the father. The father asked the daughter if she wanted anything. HE THOUGHT THAT SHE WOULD ASK FOR A TEDDY BEAR OR SOMETHING. INSTEAD, she asked, "Daddy, why did you leave me?" The man could not respond to her question and left immedieately.

WHAT A MAN!!

I was going to cry at that very moment. but controled if not I would be so embarassed! But I just cant stand a parent being so useless! ANYWAYS! I REALLY HOPE THAT OUR VISIT HAS MADE THEM MORE HAPPY THAN THEIR PARENTS'..

Haha..AFTER KFC, they really got hyper-active! They kept running here and there. Well, they're kids rite? Cant expect anything from them but just to play and have lots and lots of fun! YIPPY!

Honestly, I really had fun chasing Anusha..kids sorta enjoy attention. At least for that moment we payed full attention on them.

Who doesn't love their presents? These kids were so eager to open theit gifts.. after opening them..

haha..they were so excited to show us their coloring..

My simplest and honest advice

Don't hurt a child. Never ever do that to a child. They are God's gift. We all were once children too. THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE ABANDONED!

The only gift that they want:

LOVE FROM THEIR PARENTS AND NOT TO BE ABANDONED BY THEM

IF GOD ALLOWS ME TO, I WOULD SPEND MY TIME SHARING THE LOVE OF GOD TO THEM

Wanna visit them again!! WAIT FOR ME YA KIDS! LOL
